1:1 landskab is a young landscape architectural firm founded in 2004. The owners, Jacob Kamp and Trine Trydeman both graduated as landscape architects from University of Copenhagen, in 1998 and 1999, respectively.
The company is working with a wide range of landscape projects from private landscape gardens to private and public spaces in cities and larger planning projects. The firm also has experience in process-related projects such as planning of workshops. The company works in the belief that the landscape is an essential value-adding component of any existing and new human habitation. They produce pragmatic and poetic solutions, focussing on luxuriance, simplicity and contrast.
They strive for simple modern landscape architecture. Based on the qualities of the site and through a reinterpretation of the modern Nordic tradition, they fashion honest, rugged and durable solutions.
They believe in the personal relation and good collaboration with clients, architects, engineers and contractors, and involve other professionals such as artists, biologists and sociologists as well as the users, to find the right solution for a given project.
They have extensive experience with all phases of a project, from the first draft to the final site inspection, and thus are able to ensure a high and consistent quality.
