IADE IADE was founded in 1969 with the name Institute of Arts and Decoration and was one of the first Design schools in Portugal. Since then IADE is a laboratory of creativity, talent and leadership. The objective is to guide students for the experimentation and success, giving them the opportunity to test their talents, afford risks and to believe in themselves becoming exceptional in their personal life and their future integration at work. Due to the number of students, teaching quality, investigation and active participation in international internship courses, IADE has become the biggest Design school in Portugal, occupying the first positions in Marketing, Publicity, Design and Photography leaderboards.
