Deuce Design
Founded in 1999 by Bruce Slorach and Sophie Tatlow, Deuce Design is a graphic design studio specialising in creative concepts, strategy, research and copywriting. The studio has a reputation for producing projects that are both contemporary and culturally significant, from graphics for public domain and environmental design to branding, print, Web, fashion, fabric and lighting. Collaboration with designers and architects across numerous disciplines plays a large part in Deuce’s creative process. The studio endeavours to maintain a small team to nurture creativity and preserve creative integrity, securing the best client and team outcomes.
As primary creative director of Deuce Design, Bruce Slorach is an accomplished designer and visual artist whose works have been exhibited at the V&A Museum (London), The Victorian Gallery, The Australian National Gallery and the Powerhouse Museum. Bruce studied Fine Art at the Victorian College of the Arts and has enjoyed an extensive and rewarding career both in graphic design and in the arts. Apart from a five-year period as Creative Director at Mambo Graphics, Bruce has been a self-employed graphic designer and artist, beginning his career in the early 1980s with the design and fabric studio, Abyss Studios.
