Büro Uebele
Büro Uebele Visuelle Kommunikation was founded 1996 by Andreas Uebele. The agency is active in all areas of visual communications, with the focus on visual identity, signage and wayfinding systems, corporate communications and exhibitions.
Büro Uebele currently has a permanent staff of nine communications designers and one assistant, as well as collaborating with an architect and a communications designer on a freelance basis.
In recent years the agency’s work has been honoured with more than 300 national and international awards. In 2003 Büro Uebele won the red dot: grand prix for communication design, one of Europe’s foremost design prizes, and 2009 it won Germany’s top design prize, the design award of the federal republic of Germany (gold award). Büro Uebele’s work is represented in Dhub Disseny Hub Barcelona, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, the Chicago Athenaeum und the Museum of Modern Art Toyama. One of the most important works of the office is the corporate design for the German parliament.
