To date, we have completed some 60 projects for large retail banks, global commercial & investment banks, hedge funds and brokerage houses. They Space has been the subject of more than 25 press features, some of which highlighted the November 2006 completion of the first-ever addition to Norman Foster’s iconic 1985 HSBC Headquarters in Queens Road Central, Hong Kong, designed and project managed by One Space. The founding Directors of One Space are a licensed architect and a technology specialist from the investment banking sector. They forged a strong and complementary professional relationship when they recognised shortcomings inherent in the traditional procurement of projects: The highly desirable synergy between technology and architecture seems instead often mired in adversarial relationships as opportunities for interdisciplinary creativity are recognised too late or not at all.
