Keisuke Fujiwara was born in 1968 in Tokyo, Japan. He graduated from the Musashino Art University, and followed to work under the renowned interior designer, Shigeru Uchida. After interning at Ron Arad Associates in 2001, he established Keisuke Fujiwara Design Office which specializes in interior and furniture design. He has been designing shops for PLEATS PLEASE ISSEY MIYAKE around the world (Japan, France, China, South Korea and Thailand). Since establishing Keisuke Fujiwara Design Office, his work has been exhibited in the Milan furniture fair, DESIGN MIAMI and INTERIEUR in Kortrijk. He was awarded first prize from the Japanese Commercial Environment Designer Association.He currently holds an Associate Professor position at the Tokyo Metropolitan University.
