HOSPER is a design practice for landscape architecture, urban planning, public space and object. In their enthusiastic team several design disciplines are represented: landscape architecture, urban planning, architecture and industrial design. The varied national and international assignments they work on require the ability to generate new and creative ideas and spatial quality.
HOSPER does not have a dogmatic design style. It is the open, unbuilt space which inspires them and is the foundation of their designs. They create distinct spaces in which all elaboration of detail forms an essential part of the overall concept.Their plans vary from restrained and unassuming to exuberant and compelling but remain in all cases self-evident design solutions for a specific site and programme.
HOSPER has two offices HOSPER NL BV in the Netherlands and HOSPER SWEDEN in Sweden. The commissions they receive often demand an integral approach and a sustainable and durable solution. Therefore they are well used to working in design teams that include other disciplines, such as technicians, ecologists, practitioners of planned economy, architects and artists. They enjoy working in an open planning process, together with future users, clients and civil servants.
