Based in Brighton, UK, Richard Wolfströme is an award-winning creative interested in furthering information graphic design and typography by continually challenging the technical and creative disciplines. Primary strength lies in determining how to communicate information optimally across different media – from print to screen to installation. One of his specialisms is in the art of place-making, where he explores and works with stakeholders and communities to engage and bring meaning to place through wayfinding, embedded artworks and typographic narratives – installed into the landscape itself and supported by the use of augmented reality and digital applications. Richard is a board director of the International Society of Typographic Designers and is an assessor for the annual student assessment awards. He is also a Fellow of the RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce) and a member of the Society of Environmental Graphic Designers.
