Lorenzo Noè plays his professional career in Milan since 1992. The office is involved in the design of buildings and public spaces at all scales, from single flats to large buildings. The design is based on the conviction that architecture can be realized in a variety of contexts and starts from different assumptions: the site, an intuition, a story to tell, a specific request of the client. Particular attention is paid to the development of low-budget projects, whose limits of usable resources are taken as basis for the research for sustainable solutions both environmentally and economically. In these twenty years the office worked on the restoration of historical buildings, on the construction of residential buildings, schools and hospitals, including the school complex in Costa Volpino, near Milan, and Francesco Miulli General Hospital near Bari. The design of public spaces includes redevelopment of city centers, redesign of streets and squares, and garden design.
