Paul Le Quernec: After the graduation at ENSAIS (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts & Industries de Strasbourg–National Grad School of Art and Industry of Strasbourg), Paul Le Quernec’s work has consisted of small sized private assignments, small sized architectural open competitions. He worked as an employee during a few months in a firm and then an other one. In both cases, he lefted the firm before the end of his contract. This turn of events has made him decide to work alone from then on, and he established his own firm in january 2003. He won his first architectural competition in 2005 and his project has been published in the selection of Top 100 Buildings of the Year 2008 in France. Michel Grasso: Michel Grasso created his own firm in 2006, just after his degree performed at ENSAIS. His first projects were some houses, a wine bar on a barge in Strasbourg, a transient hotel for the Centre Pompidou in Metz and some objects design. The nursery in Sarreguemines is his first public project in his name. He met Paul Le Quernec through an internship at his office in 2004, during his studies. They became very good friends and continued to work together for some architectural projects, design or graphics.
