Architectural team kombinat. was set up in 2006 by Alenka Korenjak, Tomaž Čeligoj and Blaž Kandus. In 2008, Ana Grk joined the group and together they founded the company Kombinat arhitekti, projektiranje, d.o.o. Since then, the group is constantly expanding or shrinking inviting freelance architects and students according to current needs. Since 2006, Matej Höfler, Tina Rugelj, Robi Dolinar, Tjaša Mavrič, Živa Jerica Puterle, Ana Malalan and Nejc Koradin have been part of the team. Kombinat. engages in large scale urban developments and public space refurbishments as well as in small projects such as single family houses or apartment renovations. As two members of the team, Ana Grk and Alenka Korenjak together with Maša Cvetko co-founded the ProstoRož, an association exploring the use of public space by means of events and temporary interventions, and other team members are also active in related fields such as design and fashion, kombinat. is a vivid platform always opening new possibilities and facing new challenges.
