Alrik Koudenburg is a freelance creative based in Amsterdam. His passion is creating inspiring environments together with others. Its where all his previous experiences come together. Creating exciting and refreshing (brand) experiences – is what he is committed to, investigating opportunities to take organizations to the next level. Making first drafts and launching ideas at the very core of an initiative is what he enjoys most – always looking for ways to add value, combine different disciplines to make it a 360º experience. Working directly for clients on a global scale, as well as for design agencies around the globe – where he teams up with other creatives, being mainly responsible for the concept and design direction. Started off with Graphic Design, continuing with Fine-art in Sweden and Industrial Design at the Design academy in Eindhoven. he has travelled quit extensively and lived and worked abroad in cities like New York / Buenos Aires / Montreal and Sydney. In a way this has enhanced his ability to approach tasks in different ways. Diversity is what drives him. Whether its creating his own Treetent / a cardboard-office-interior / a fashion show for Nike / a lobby bar for Heineken International or teaching and giving talks. ~ It makes work feel like play.
