Enrique Gómez de la Torre and Maria del Carmen Guerrero founded their Architectural Studio in 1983. In 1997 they are selected to be part of the Peruvian Architecture Yearbook. In 2007 the studio, together with 19 most imporante studios at the time, is selected to display their work in the First Urban collective of Architecture. They have exhibited their beach houses in all of the collective expositions of beach houses in Asia beach (2001 – 2013).
The studio has been published in all different kinds of media, television, magazines and web in places such as Mexico, Honduras, Korea, Italy and Puerto Rico. In Perú they have been published in the most important news paper “El Comercio” and in specialized magazines, having their projects as the front cover of some of them.
In 2009 the studio was awarded in the Miami Beach Bienal, IIDA 2009, the Spa House won the Gold medal in the Single Family Housing Category and La Molina Condominum won the Bronce medal in the Multi Family Housing Category. In 2011 and 2012 the studio participates in the Batimat Expovivienda in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2012 they receive their first Honorable Mention in the category Urbanism in the Peruvian Bienal 2012 with their urban intervention of the University Científica del Sur in Lima Perú.
