The amsa Architectural firm (afxentiou| mougiakos|stasinopoulou_architects) was founded in 2005 by the architects Nektarios Afxentiou, Anargyros Mougiakos and Zoi Stasinopoulou, graduates of the Architectural School of the National Technical University of Athens of 2002. Earlier as an architectural team, the three architects won the first prize at the architectural competition for the New Regional Headquarters of the Electricity Authority of Cyprus in Larnaca and were assigned the architectural design and supervision of the project. Since then the firm has completed proposals on a variety of building types of high technical standards, emphasizing in high aesthetic and functional values. In December 2010 the firm has received the state prize of the Republic of Cyprus for emerging architects for the new office building for the Synergasias co op bank in Kiti.
