Patrick Milford is a St. Louis-based graphic designer and illustrator. A recent graduate of the University of Missouri-St. Louis’ graphic design program, Milford has recently worked for two of St. Louis County’s finest organizations: Laumeier Sculpture Park and the St. Louis County Library. “I’ve had a strong fine arts background, and I like to incorporate those techniques into my work when appropriate. I believe that the best results come from the imperfection of the human hand and the precision of the computer.”
When not working at his full-time job, Milford freelances for local clients via his one-man operation, PM Design. Since 2010, he has been providing small businesses with beautiful, print-focused graphic design. The studios name stems not only from his initials but also from the kind of hours that he works at times. He is a proponent of the “Design for Good” initiative and continues to use design to impact his community, like his award-winning social campaign, Threads4Justice.
