A “white box” design solution was exactly what the client wanted to avoid. She wanted her apartment to be dramatic, moody and have a sense of theatre, which would in turn reflect her love of textile and fashion. The scheme was inspired from the original and poignant style of 1970’s interiors. The apartment is housed in a 1970’s redbrick flat. This leads to Florence Broadhurst and Signature Prints. The vintage pattern wallpaper was customized using a colour scheme of navy blue, beige and white. The scheme evolved into a rich ing of the different interior mediums on which this pattern was printed, which are wallpaper, cotton for the bed linen, fiberglass fabric for the blinds, and artwork.
