10 Corso Como has opened in Shanghai on September 14th, 2013. In the heart of the Jing’An District, a free standing four storey glass building designed by American artist Kris Ruhs welcomes new visitors to this first concept destination in China. Located at 1717 Nanjing West Road, Shanghai, the 2500 sqm building is home to a gallery, a bookshop, a restaurant, a café patisserie, and an ongoing series of unique personally curated presentations of design, fashion and art seen through the lens of the 10 Corso Como world.
Conceived as the center for a series of changes that wil be offered at 10 Corso Como, the 1st floor is a multifunctional space, an opportunity to experience the slow shopping philosophy of 10 Corso Como in Shanghai. It includes design, cosmetics, 10 Corso Como’s branded products, the bookstore and pastry café with an outside terrace surrounded by plants.
The glass elevator through the pastry café leads to the 2nd floor. Here, amongst books and design s, famous and upcoming new men fashion designers from all over the world are presenting both accessories and special iconic clothing. A “sumisura” corner for classic perfectly made hand tailoring is there too.
The 3rd floor is home to women’s fashion presenting some of the world’s most cutting edge brands. Explore both classic and avant-garde fashion from the leading designers of our time. Spacious changing rooms and sofas and chairs invite to enjoy the slow shopping philosophy of 10 Corso Como.
10 Corso Como’s restaurant and lounge are located on the top floor. An ideal place with a beautiful view of the Jing’An temple, to relax with an evening drink, or enjoy dinner in the restaurant that serves Italian cuisine by one star chef Corrado Michelazzo. 10 Corso Como Gallery is also on the 4th floor and hosts photography, art, design and fashion exhibitions all year round.
