The Fashion Hill name is purely d on the interior design of the store.
It all started when the M.O.B studio undertook this project with aware of understanding the limited size of space, the lack of identity, the concerns of the client especially on the quantitive level as well as the urban environment of the surrounding area. Almost every design approach seemed impossible since when aesthetics diseased due to the strong functionality and when it seemed to be exaclty the opposite. It seemed impossible to defined balance! Suddenly, we tested something different with a result of giving life and vibrance to the project area. Overlooking the limited size of space and approach our needs with improvisations in a purely experimental work of an organic geometry.
The sense of the confined space started to immerse in front of the steep hill that was intended to the two dissimilar levels of the store enriching the user’s path with samples of clothes, shoes and accessories. Even at the moment when the user was at the upper level should feel the space as a connected piece of the same mass. The connection of the space would supported from the inverted pyramid that would be installed on the roof of the store gathering the entire architecture energy on the peaks with a result of increasing further the sense of the optical size of the space. Also, with the application of neutral tones in the different surfaces, would have an essential role in the overall style of the space. The choice of white was no longer an option but given application. Other materials would have a supportive role like the color rendering of green at the hill surfaces giving the sense of a natural steep element provoking you to climb. The role of the entire lighting would support the illustration of this entire experimental try that should be imprinted into the space as a futuristic fleck while the general work d on removing the materials and bright tones.
